Mysql Gui Tools

3rd Party Package Requesting

Postby CDFiXER » Sat Feb 21, 2009 7:45 pm

Any chance this can be packaged for Freesco?

<a href='http://dev.mysql.com/get/Downloads/MySQLGUITools/mysql-gui-tools-5.0r12-linux-i386.tar.gz/from/pick' target='_blank'>mySQL admin tools</a>

Prefer 04x.

Thanks in advance!

(looks like it possibly might be for a much newer kernel and libs that Freesco, so may not be doable)

That link is to a pre compiled set of binaries and scripts for a lib6 system. So it is not going to work for FREESCO and I did not search to see if the source code is available or not. I can say that the current binaries in that program use a page full of extra libraries, so even the source might not compile.

Well if I read the stuff concerning this software correctly, there are some helpful items for working with migrating an Access database (especially 97 and older) to MySQL. I have not checked out the latest PHPMyAdmin, but the versions I do have do not have anything like that.

Nope, did not come across that in my searching. Was ready to manually import the fields via ODBC and then go through verification. But now I read the code you posted and that looks like exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!
