how can I use more than 64Mb RAM?

If you need some help, this should be the first place to look.

When your freesco box has more than 64Mb RAM you will notice that the kernel will only report 64Mb. To fix this add the 'mem=' keyword to the LOADLIN line in your ROUTER.BAT file:

Example:

loadlin ..... root=/dev/ram0 vga=4 panic=15 mem=128M

for 128Mb memory. Reboot and the free command should show the new amount.

The ROUTER.BAT file can be edited in DOS mode and resides in the \ROUTER directory or;

when you are logged in on your freesco box, the file is in /mnt/router/router.bat for 027 and in /boot/router.bat for 03x.

Update
This method may not work in combination with all motherboards / memory types. The freesco kernel may still only recognize 64Mb even with the loadlin line modified. In that case you're out of luck... :down:
