FREEsco or FLOPPYsco

Remember this is a 1.44Mb floppy disk router, space is limited.

FREEsco or FLOPPYsco

For certain I shall not be the first and me will beat at once.
Principle " freesco - floppy system " determining here.
But, probably, time has come to make main FREEsco instead of FLOPPYsco.
- now floppy you will find not on every PC;
- much needs normal support USB;
- there is many soft, necessary for router, but needs kernel 2.2 and higher (OpenVPN etc.);
- it is possible to say more many such reasons.
I think, that now only few use freesco from floppy, but for them enough existing functionality.
May be time has come to switch on support of a kernel 2.2 +. It may be separate subbranch of the project.
I think Freesco will not lose from this. Work with onlyfloppy will be lost, but capabilities of which many now dream, saving thus simplicity and functionality freesco, can be added.
It certainly from area of imaginations, but I think, that it would be pleasant to much.
Whether such development of the project is planned?
Last word certainly for developers, but dreams, dreams...
Sorry for bad English.
